Good Morning, I wanted to touch base with everyone this morning. I know you are looking for a typical schedule of our day. Below please find what our typical days looked like. We all have many factors that play a role in our daily lives and having to put schooling in there as well will be a challenge for everyone. Do what is best for your family. There is no one way. Also a lot of the activities and lessons that I will provide will certainly not take as long with your one child versus 17 Falcons in the classroom. Things you can do everyday..... Work on following directions. 1 and 2 step related and unrelated. Give them responsibility. chores, strive for Independence. Give them opportunities to problem solve. Let them make mistakes and learn from them. I am always so proud of how brave they are. Have them create their work/study space. Designate a spot for "school" Give them lots of opportunities to play, move, laugh, and have fun. Daily Schedule: 8:00-8:30 Morning Check in and stations I had a math station, a creative station and a writing station (with the exception of Mondays. Please use the "Remote Learning" tab for all of your activities and learning tools! Here is my first message to you! Hey there Fearless Falcons, This was a tricky day for me. I had to be a flexible thinker and learn a lot of new things. It was not easy. But I thought of all of you and all of our tools that we have been learning to use and I made it. I did belly breaths, positive self talk and I had the support of my colleagues and friends. I missed you today but I was so happy to hear from all of you and what you did on your first Remote Learning Adventure. My bucket was overflowing to hear that you are all working so hard to adjust to our new normal. I wanted you to know that Dante, Franklin, and Goober are safe and sound here at Camp Ms. SAM. Alexia, Caleb and I will take very good care of them. I am working hard at making you some care packages, with some fun items as well as items we will need for learning. I have many ideas, but I will need you and your families help. I know this is a challenge but WE are the FEARLESS FALCONS. We are kind, We are strong, We are brave, We are peaceful, We are hard workers, and We are Smart! Say hi to Dante, Franklin and Goober in their new remote learning camp. Keep smiling, and working hard, with love, Ms. SAM https://youtu.be/rRVPhE_pDQM |
